Daniela Rojas Arroyo
Project Coordinator at C Minds
Daniela is currently Project Coordinator at the Eon Resilience Lab at C Minds, an area from which she promotes tools for a more just and egalitarian society. Among the projects she leads is Open Loop México, part of Facebook's global experimental governance program. The Mexican project focuses on the creation of a public policy prototype on transparency and explicability of Artificial Intelligence systems, led by Facebook and C Minds, in conjunction with the IDB and with the support of INAI. It seeks to create a framework that fosters reliable AI systems, working with Mexican AI companies and experts from the region.
Likewise, Daniela has been leading several projects focused on facilitating an inclusive digital transformation from the government, leading the generation of public policy recommendations for digital inclusion in compliance with the UN guidelines in collaboration, coordinating the identification and analysis of areas of opportunity and risks of applying AI on key issues for the post-COVID economic recovery in the form of public policy and, currently, designing and implementing an awareness and training program on AI for local governments and for the federal government. These works have been carried out with various national and international actors, collaborating closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the German Cooperation for Sustainable Development (GIZ) and the British Embassy in Mexico.
In the past, Daniela worked at the Ethos and ProMéxico Public Policy Laboratory and is an Internationalist from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
